What can I say that hasn't already? Well it's one of my favorite albums and I was overjoyed when i discovered it. If they had maintained this consistent quality for further records I'm sure we'd all be mentioning them in the same sentences as Deep purple and other top-tier hard rocking bands of the time, but's it's unfairly restrictive to compare them to other bands. It's impossible to catergorise. It's diversity confusingly leads people to label it as Hard Rock, Space Rock, Heavy Psych, Jazz/latin Rock, Progressive Rock, Heavy Metal, even Proto Punk, but really it's a unique mixture of all these things and more. Each is given space and time to shine in a truly collaborative effort and something else that sets it apart is the concept album feel, all the songs flow into each other brilliantly, it's a real journey from beginning to end. It manages to be explorative and experimental without ever feeling bloated or excessive. Everyone with an inclination towards heavy rock must hear it!

does anyone else think that in terms of flow this album really has it. One track after another flowing, sometimes you don't notice the song has changed. It really is a masterpiece, and does not receive enough praise. It really cannot be listened to by single tracks, as it is an album
