From Borås, the headquarters of the Swedish textile industry comes Boa constrictor. In a city where rock and heavy metal has folded like heavy concrete and asphalt, this six-member strong pop orchestra has grown through their mutual love for melodic pop music from the 60’s and 90’s. Could it be possible to create beauty without having to move to the big city of Gothenburg in the west? Boa Constrictor was consistent to break the concrete and let the beauty of their pop songs grow like flowers and give colour to the dark and heavy asphalt.

In 2009 the songs ”Out of nothing” and ”kollektivliv” were released through the beautiful American indie label, Cloudberry Records. Later on, Boa Constricor is heard on a couple compilations and finally undergoes emotionally and distressing member changes. But just as the snake sheds its skin, Boa Constrictor has now grown together as their current configuration.

The past two years has been an era of break-ups, new faces and endless and constantly interrupted recordings. All of that is history now and only love and beautiful things is spotted in the future. Boa Constrictor stands ready to conquer asphalt and concrete wherever it may be.
