Japan

BORN är ett -band med -inslag från Japan. Bandets första aktiviteter var först under namnet RENNY AMY, sedan D&L och i mars 2008 bytte de till born, då skrivet i gemener. I dagsläget består BORN (nu officiellt i versaler) av fem medlemmar: 猟牙 (ryouga) (sång), K (gitarr), Ray (gitarr), KIFUMI (bas) och TOMO (trummor). Efter att ha släppt tre singlar släpptes deras första album, -Abnormal Head Machine- den 25 februari 2009, endast i 1000 exemplar. Bandets första spelning utomlands var vid Oni-con i USA den 31 oktober 2009. Första juni 2010 signerades BORN till Indies-PSC. (PS COMPANY Co.,Ltd) och meddelade att tre nya mini-album skulle släppas under hösten - BLACK BORN MARKET den 18 augusti, BLACK THEORY MANIA den 15 september och BLACK DEAD MUZIC den 13 oktober. Det var under denna period de bytte från born till BORN.

    Somewhat bland album for me, but I didn't expect it to be anything fantastic either coming from PSC. I did like a few songs a bit but most of the songs I felt sounded way too similar, and I couldn't see myself listening to them extensively. Just like a lot of people; I miss the old born. I would like to see this band experiment with their music and create some truly unique tunes, and I know how much potential they have. I hope that PSC can get their act together, but sadly, I don't think they will.

    "VIGOUR" must be the most boring release by BORN so far. Some songs are good, but all the others sound the same to me. Maybe it's Ryoga's voice that ruining it for me... PS COMPANY is not the one to blame, I think they would deliver the same result if they still were releasing on modeCAPSULE.

    I think VIGOUR is a good album, not their best - but it's not bad. And I don't think that they change that much like other PSC-bands. Pls accept that every band want to grow up and try something new. If every song would sound like the old ones you would be disappointed, too, right?
