ANTENNAS
Antennas was started as Novak in 2004 and released one album under that name. After the departure of two of the original members and a slight shift in musical style they decided to change their name to Antennas. Still having their ability to make magnificent pop melodies they now also have a more mature and modern sound.
After spending almost two years on the roads of Europe promoting their first album Sins now Antennas are now back with a new single. And boy are they back indeed. ”Lies” is the first single off their upcoming second album ”Feeling Feline Tonight” (due to be released on 21 of Jan).
”Lies” is showing off their new electronic, urban and a little darker sound. It’s lika a perfect mix of the finest indiepop and the electronic dance scene. All that but still with all the superb pop melody you associate with Antennas.
On this single, and the upcoming album, Antennas continue their close cooperation the artist/producer Magnus Henriksson (Existensminimum) which they started working with on ”Sins”. He is in fact more like the fourth member on this production and besides producing he plays all bass and keyboards.
