The What Are You Reading Thread

  • The Dovekeepers, by Alice Hoffman. I just picked it up at the airport because I needed something to read, and it has been way better than I expected. Almost done with it.

    Max Frisch - Homo Faber

  • Under the Dome - stephen king

I hate stephen king outside of his early "classic" run(like '84 and earlier, i guess). started this on a dumb whim, but this book is already leading up to the stupid 'unexplained supernatural bullshit' that he's made his "thing" on for the last 25 years.

i may be wrong, but i dont think i'll enjoy where this book goes
but i won't be surprised if he fails to end a story...again.

It's the jewel of victory, it's the chasm of misery and once you have bitten the core, you will always know the flavor.

Of Human Bondage by William Somerset Maugham. This is one of the most intriguing books I've ever read.

  • Just finished A Clash of Kings in time for the Game of Thrones season 2 finale, and started A Storm of Swords this morning.

    I'd prefer not.
