Control is fast becoming one of the surprise critical hits of the year. It has already won the Best European Film award at Cannes 2007 and will be released across the UK on the 5th October. Directed by legendary rock photographer and video director Anton Corbijn, the film tells the story of Ian Curtis and Joy Division.

Music is central to the story of Control and so the soundtrack, chosen by Anton, is an essential parallel to the film. From the '70s glam strangeness of early Bowie, Roxy Music and Iggy Pop to the thrill of The Sex Pistols and Buzzcocks, the soundtrack moves to specially-recorded versions of Joy Division's own music.

To further celebrate the release of Control, and Joy Division's continued influence on popular and indie music alike, Warner Music are also releasing Joy Division's entire back catalogue, in new remastered splendor, packaged with never-before-heard live shows.
