    Scrobbles not showing on Webpage

    Since the recent update, my scrobbles are not showing up on the web page. Scrobble client seems to be working (lists song as it plays, etc) and asks to approve iPod scrobbles when I plug in. I have reinstalled the last.fm client, rebooted, etc. but still no new songs since Oct 19th and Liz Phair's new recording is feeling under appreciated.

  • Same for me. Using Windows 7 and Winamp. No new scrobbles on the webpage since Friday, but plenty of local plays. Last.fm connects just fine and shows tracks being scrobbled.

    The same trouble since 24 of October.
    It seems like it scrobbles, - I can see progress-line in scrobbler-window and tracklist in Help-Diagnostics, but I don't see it on my page. Just the song, I'm listening at the moment, and then - it disappears from web-page. I don't see it neither in stats, nor in history. I see just list from 24/10.

    Win XP SP2 + foobar2000 v0.9.6.1. I also tried to reinstall client, reboot, and so on.

    Help-Diagnostics:
    Submission server status: OK
    Last successful connection: 26/10/2010 17:14 - right now!
    Cached Tracks:
    long list

    I noticed this trouble in the morning, so it stopped nearby yesterday evening or maybe morning 24/10, cause I experienced problems with my i-net provider, the drop happened about 08:30 am, but the last track I see on my page - from 7:31.

    Моreover, when I add someone to favorites via scrobbler on my pc - I can see this changes on the web-page.

  • The same trouble for a week already. I can see on my page what is played, but it doesn't appear in stats. Maybe it's statistics problem?

    Hey there in support, does anybody read this? I actually need help, but still - no answers.

  • version about stats has become true.

    Yesterday after my last posts playlist disappeared from help-diagnostics and arrived in stats on my page. Don't know if someone has handled it somehow. But anyway - Thanx! - It works now!

    I'm quite happy!)

  • Same here, but I'm using Vista. Some of my tracks show up later, but not all of them.

    Live life hard n rock the fuck on! \m/

  • I've been having this same problem since last last night/early this morning. The last.fm software does record everything.

    I have Windows 7 and am using foobar2000 1.1. FWIW, the song I'm currently listening to does show up on my page, but doesn't get recorded. This has has happened to me in the past and would be fixed by restarting my computer, but I've tried that a few times and it hasn't worked.

    Thanks in advance for any help.

    Edit: It's working again now. Awesome.

  • Since I updated to Winamp 5.6 Lite, scrobbles are not being submitted. The client fails to auto-launch when Winamp is initiated unlike with prior releases of Winamp.

    I've just added my lastfm profile to another computer but my scrobbles are not showing up on the web page. Scrobble client seems to be working (lists song as it plays, etc) but not showing anything on my profile. I can't see any specific reason for it not to work... can anyone help?

    Oh dear.... I've made it worse. Now wont scrobble from my previous computer either.. changed the password - don't know if thats relevant or not, but no recorded scrobbling whatsoever now.

    Winamp 5.6

    I easily solve my problem by re-installing Winamp 5.6 with the proper component. Last FM use the "Winamp Library / Core Media Library Components / Now Playing" one.

    Same Problem since install of Winamp 5.601

    This morning I installed Winamp version 5.601, and my scrobbling quit working. (It was working fine this morning with the previous version of Winamp).

    As suggested in an above post, I did install the proper components (Winamp Library / Core Media Library Components / Now Playing), but that didn't seem to help.

    I am running the following:
    * Windows 7
    * Last.fm 1.5.4.27091
    * Last.fm Winamp plugin 2.1.0.9
    * Winamp 5.601

  • Solved!

    After update check your firewall settings. Allow all activity for "winamp.exe" and everything will be fine ^^

  • Urgh

    I have this problem too.
    Winamp is allowed to go through my firewall, but it's still not scrobbing properly. It does come up saying "now playing", though.

    Can a webmaster please give an update on why scrobbles are not being shown on the profile page? It has been at least 3 days like this now for me. Sometimes I wonder what I am paying for.

    I've had a similar problem for a few days now. I'm using the latest WinAmp and iTunes on Windows Vista.

    Last.FM connects fine according to diagnostics and I have no cached tracks. On my Last.FM userpage, it'll display the current playing song, then it disappears and doesn't get 'pinned' to my recently listened to list.

    However, if I click "see/edit tracks" on my Last.FM profile, all recently played songs are showing correctly... They're just not being carried over/ displayed on my main profile page :/

    I've also noticed that when I plug in my ipod (also running the latest itunes version), the Last.FM client no longer automatically pops up with songs that have been played on my ipod. I have to submit them through diagnostics. It simply says "Last.FM is now ready for iopd scrobbling", despite the enabled settings for it to gather scrobbles from itunes. When I submit ipod scrobbles through diagnostics, they display on my profile and are not affected by the above problem.

    I hope this little problems are fixed soon, it's getting a little bit confusing!

    Thanks, Last.FM Team :)

    EDIT
    I've since disabled WinAmp through my firewall, re-enabled it and rebooted my computer. Scrobbles appear to be scrobbling fine for the moment. :)

    Exact same problem as everyone else.

    Also, sometimes my scrobbler scrobbles but Last.fm doesn't acknowledge it at all. Then when I turn off my laptop and turn it on again, it scrobbles everthing all at once. Why is it doing this bulky-Scrobble instead of the usual track-by-track scrobble? This doesn't happen often but it is happening now.

    Have had this problem recently too, though the tracks did eventually reappear &the counter re-set itself - except for yesterday; there are around 4hrs worth of radio tracks missing from both my profile and the 'see more/edit' page :o(

    Will they be restored?

    Due to a problem with the chart generation system, currently some artist pages and charts may not be functioning correctly. Our engineers are working to fix this issue. No scrobbles are being lost.

    If so, how long do I leave it before I write them off &manually update my list? (every 500th track is noted)
