On Tuesday July 22nd the Levellers will play an exclusive gig to mark the launch of their latest album, ‘Letters from the Underground ‘, due for release on August 11th. The Levellers performance will be a secret one with tickets being offered to fans just two weeks before the event and will sell out immediately due to the size of the venue which holds just 300 people. This is in contrast to the band having just sold out their own “Beautiful Days” Festival with a 15,000 capacity audience.
The band are set to headline this show at Proud Gallery in Camden in aid of The Big Issue with post trip-hop three piece, Second Person, and indie kids, SWAG in support. It’s this eclectic mix of musical talents and genres - from classic bands to trendy young things - that will make The Big Night one of the hottest tickets in town this July.
Indeed the Levellers have chosen the gig to launch their eagerly awaited album, Letters from the Underground, and will perform tracks from the new record, alongside old favourites, on the night.
