Quite a good show - if you discount the starting troubles :o)

A new drummer and a new keyboarder - both on stage for the first time with this group - we knew it would be difficult, so we chose the Calling Card to introduce the new band members - and while Eddy on the keys did a great job - playing 100% precisely from a to z, it was us "old" band members, who fucked up tremendously.

Katrin started singing without a signal on her microphone. For once she had it switched off (I HATE micros with switches!) - a first in the band career; I unplugged my axe somewhere in the third or fourth song (didn't loop the cable behind the belt) - luckily during a solo of the other guitar player.

That's all "beginner" stuff - and it shows that you just shall not be too laid back about concert preparations - after all it's a gig - even if you have played that place 100 times before!

Apart from those little troubles, it was a good show. The gig started around 2100h, when the place was about half full, and it ended around 2300 in a pretty packed place; those who came in, stayed. We got a DVD of it (but the sound quality from the camcorder's micro is just horrible) and I am shure that we played our best Whipping Post so far - and a very, very powerful "Babelfish"
