For believers in the original and unadulterated power of heavy metal, history is about to be remade as MJR Group and Hidden Talent/MAD Tour Booking join forces to bring together some of the most seminal bands in metal lore for the unforgettable and explosive Deathcrusher Festival.
Taking place here at Motion on October 27th, Deathcrusher will feature grind legends Carcass, Florida’s death metal doyens (and one-time rivals of Carcass) Obituary, Canada’s avant-thrash heroes Voivod, plus mindbending sludge voyagers Herod. As if that wasn’t enough, on the 10th August there will also be a special guest announcement who are guaranteed to make this show more spectacular.
This is a gathering of bands who both wrote the rulebooks on heavy metal and spun it off into thrilling new directions that’s proved fertile ground for countless acts ever since. But above all, Deathcrusher is going to be the ground zero for metal in its most potent, unruly and unrivalled form.
