Firmly established as one of the contemporary jazz scene’s most virtuosic and individual performers, Zoe Rahman’s approach to the piano brings together a masterful command of the jazz tradition, a strong classical upbringing and the influence of Zoe’s British/Bengali heritage.
The release of ‘Kindred Spirits’, Zoe’s fifth album on her own Manushi label, won her a MOBO award for best jazz album in 2012.
As well as her prolific work as a leader, Rahman has performed alongside George Mraz, Courtney Pine, Jerry Dammers and James Carter amongst many others.
