FIRES are from Blackpool and the brainchild of epic songstress Karima Francis and her band. FIRES have just spent 3 weeks locked in a special studio space in Stockport with Producer Dan Austin honing this new work so it delivers both a punch and an emotional tear.
Karima's songwriting always hits the button and the bands musicianship is pretty much outstanding. The execution of this new project raises the bar on every level. The effect is unlike any other female - fronted band around today. People who have heard a handful of tracks and seen the new band are saying she's the female JEFF BUCKLEY. A massive reference point indeed!
