Chaos Theory presents a special one-off night in Dalston. Expect mindbending experimental rock with jazz flavours.

Polymath
Insanely good instrumental progressive rock trio from Brighton. For the last two years they've managed to blow people away with their immense musicianship and dynamic live performances.
If you've not already caught their performances at ArcTanGent, Nice Weather For Airstrikes Records, Cosmic Carnage and The Facemelter, then what are you doing with your lives?
With four successful independent singles under their belts, they now are on the way to releasing their debut album (recorded by And So I Watch You From Afar engineer Lee McMahon) after smashing their crowdfunding target.
-------------------
Battleship Grey
A brand new band forged out of the remnants of experimental Secret Cinema Band. Fusing progressive rock, funk and experimental sounds, we'll be hearing all new material from their upcoming EP.
This unique band will be releasing their first single Hunt What You Like here tonight as download codes and handmade numbered CDs.
"A bold and refreshing display in combining highly melodic, powerful vocal melodies with innovative, forward-looking rhythms" - XXY Magazine

Survival Skills
A new solo project by Chris Sharkey, guitarist of pioneering projects such as Shiver (who headlined the PX3 stage at ArcTanGent 2014) and of nu jazz punk quartet Acoustic Ladyland.
Expect more experimental yet jawdropping precision and skill involving live production, guitars, vocals, synths, sequencers, samples and effects, all smashed together to form new sounds that will only ever be heard once.
“Sharkey is at the cutting-edge of contemporary improv-fusion guitar technique, colliding headlong free-jazz phrasing with roaring thrash metal riffs and ghostly electronics.” - John Fordham, The Guardian
“Guitarist Sharkey’s astonishing technique sees him produce a vast array of otherworldly sounds from his battered looking Fender Strat, creating a torrent of angular flurries, gut-wrenchingly heavy, chugging, riffs and spaced out looping. He’s one of the most exciting young guitarists on the UK scene, and one that might just find fans in both free jazz and avant metal camps.” - Jazzwise
