Founding member and bass guitarist of Dire Straits, John Illsley will be performing songs from his latest album Testing the Water and some classic Dire Straits songs, including Sultans of Swing, Money for Nothing and Brothers in Arms.

Mark Knopfler and John are the only founding members of Dire Straits to remain in the line up from 1977 -1995, during which time they sold over 120 million albums .They are still good friends and recently produced the TV program Guitar Stories for Sky Arts.

John and his band played to an audience of 3000 in the acoustic tent at Glastonbury this summer, described by John as “a pleasure and a privilege".
