KC and The Sunshine Band

Get ready to shake your booty and get down when KC and the Sunshine Band play the Crystal Grand Music Theater, 430 W. Munroe Ave, at 8 p.m. Saturday, July 26.

KC, real name Harry Wayne Casey, said this will be his first trip to Wisconsin Dells. The two-hour show will feature a wide range of selections from his decades in music.

“It’s definitely all the hits,” KC said. “There’s no filler, but I try to keep everything to the audience instead of doing really obscure stuff.”

A new album, “Feeling You,” will be released sometime in the next two months. The Sony Music-distributed album will feature 24 original songs and 17 songs from the 1960s.

“In 2012 I came out of some kind of creative coma,” KC said. “Not that I wasn’t creative or writing down, or things weren’t going through my head. Whatever happened in the last year or so has been off the hook for me as far as creativity.”
