The Hilliard Ensemble - Old and New

The Hilliard Ensemble is one of the world's finest chamber vocal ensembles with a reputation for excellence in both early and new music, as well as a thirty year history of mentoring young singers. In 2013 The Hilliard Ensemble celebrates its 40th birthday.

As part of Voices Now, the ensemble celebrates both the old and the new in a search to find and mentor a new young vocal ensemble that will perform repertoire by Perotin and Part. Voices Now undertook a UK-wide, industry led search through colleges and conservatoires to find young voices to form the new ensemble and received an overwhelmingly high standard of response. On 12 March fifteen groups who applied will present their work to The Hilliard Ensemble who will then select a group of singers to form either one or two ensembles.

The selected groups will benefit from ongoing mentoring from the Hilliard Ensemble, culminating in the performance on 21 June.

Ticket price locations
Level 1 Seated: Seating at tables of 6. All tables are located inside the pillars in front of the stage and have good sightlines. If you wish to book for a group, please ensure all tickets are booked at the same time to ensure your group is seated together on the same table. We are unable to move guests onto different tables on the night.
Level 1 Standing: Standing space behind the pillars.
Circle Seated: Seating on the balcony.
Family Ticket: 4 x circle seats on the balcony. Family tickets can only be purchased in person or by calling 0844 482 8008 (select option 1, then 2)
Concessions: Seating on the balcony.

Time: Starts 8pm (doors open 7.30pm)
Age restrictions: Under 16s to be accompanied by an adult, under 14s to be accompanied and in seated areas only
Latecomers: Will be admitted at a suitable break in the performance

Roundhouse Exclusive Members Bar: Did you know you can get access to an exclusive bar overlooking the Main Space during the gig? We'll also give you a glass of champagne, a Roundhouse bag and Roundhouse souvenir book. Passes are £20 per person, plus the usual ticket price. You can choose to watch the gig from there or from the area your ticket relates to. Please note, the view of the stage/artist may be restricted on occasion from the Members Bar.
