NELL BRYDEN

Nell Bryden has the heart of an artist, the mind of a storyteller and the restless soul of a troubadour. These traits are in the genes of the native New Yorker - her parents are a painter and opera singer. But the self-belief and tireless work ethic that have seen her travel 300,000 miles to play 1,400 shows over the past seven years are all her own.

Following the release of her second album, 'Shake the Tree', earlier this year, Nell has picked up regular Radio 2 rotation, as well slots at Bestival, Guilfest and BBC Proms in the Park. Influenced by her time spent in New Orleans, Nell's music is a graceful amalgamation of blues, country, jazz and folk, which has garnered praise from all corners of the globe.

Robert Lane is a Guitarist, Songwriter and Singer based in Birmingham, UK. His new EP, ‘Any Place You’d Like To Know’, is available for download now and the physical version is on sale at Robert’s gigs.

The EP is reflective of Robert’s range of influence, inspired to write and perform by the likes of The Beatles, Pete Townshend, Rufus Wainwright and Ron Sexsmith, Robert played with various bands as a guitarist before taking the decision to perform as a solo artist.

Robert has appeared at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Birmingham Artsfest and The Tenby Blues Festival as well as venues including Birmingham’s Glee Club and Jools Holland’s famous venue The Jam House. He has supported a wide range of performers including Alice Gold, Cattle and Cane, Edwina Hayes, Jazz Morley, Steve Gibbons, Dan Whitehouse and Steve Ajao.
