DISCHARGE
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Discharge/107500522612439?sk=info

Discharge is a British hardcore punk band formed in 1977 by Terry "Tezz" Roberts and Roy "Rainy" Wainwright. They are often considered among one of the very first bands to play hardcore punk, and to mix punk with metal. While the band had substantial lineup changes over its history, the classic lineup from the early 1980s featured bassist Wainwright, drummer Roberts, his brother Tony "Bones" Roberts playing guitar, and vocalist Kelvin "Cal" Morris.

The band's music is characterized by a heavy, distorted, and grinding guitar-driven sound and raw, shouted vocals similar to a speech, with lyrics on anarchist and pacifist themes. The band's 1982 debut album, Hear Nothing See Nothing Say Nothing, went to number two on the UK Indie Charts and number 40 in the UK Album Chart. In the early 1980s, numerous singles and EPs placed in the top 10 of the UK Indie Charts, including the 1981 EP Why? (#1) and the 1982 single State Violence State Control.

In 1982, the addition of guitarist Peter "Pooch" Purtill brought significant thrash metal crossover elements to the band. In the 1990s, the band released several metal-influenced albums. In the early 2000s, the classic line up reunited and released a self-titled album returning to their hardcore punk roots.

Discharge's music influenced hardcore punk, thrash metal, crust punk, grindcore and various extreme metal subgenres. The musical genre of d-beat is named for Discharge and their distinctive drumbeat.

FLOWERS OF FLESH & BLOOD
http://www.facebook.com/fofabuk?ref=ts&sk=info

Flowers Of Flesh And Blood were born out of the ashes of The Mirrormen in 2002 and have spent the last ten years opening shows at the Grosvenor, being puked on in dirty squats, drinking all available liquids, eating or smoking all available solids, laughing at straight-edgers and watching almost all the good promoters in London leave, quit or die, along with a succession of drummers, bass players and lead guitarist. Eventually the line-up stabilised (more or less), they put out the "War Poetry" CD and did some touring with Armed Response Unit and Damnas. Recent support slots with Napalm Death and Antisect cheered them up a bit and this cheery mood continued when they heard they were to support Discharge. Buy them a drink, it's been a long, thirsty journey and it's not over yet by a long chalk....

CAVITY SEARCH
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Cavity-Search/71617243566

Cavity Search came into existence when Aussie professional wrestler Barry Crunch was horribly disfigured whilst attempting to foil a robbery on his local Cottage Chicken store. After being shot in the face, rushed to hospital and converted into the cyborg being now known as BAZTRON, he quickly said "Fuck this shit, I'm starting a band!"

Baztron searched high and low for potential bandmates and instead of coming out on top with an amazing bunch of creative geniuses, he emerged with a posse of foreign misfits, and general cunts. The exact type of people he needed.

Baztron first put together Cavity Search with former guitarist Tim "Hot Metal" Shearer and current drummer and sex symbol Will Edmands. The lads wrote a few classic tunes together and practiced hard but never quite succeeded in putting together a full lineup or getting themselved onto the stage.

Unfortunately after just a short time, Tim was whisked away to the USA as the black guy from Walker: Texas Ranger had retired and Chuck Norris needed a new sidekick.

Filling the gaping hole left by Tim was a tough job, but in the end a suitable replacement was found under a bridge in Poland. Pierug knew how to drink, yell, and play a bit of guitar when he could remember where he was. The Search was back on track, and soon after a new bass guitarist was found in American import Cameron Foard. Fresh out of Nuke 'em High and ready to talk shit with the best of them, Cameron proved to be a fine addition to the regiment.

With the recent addition of second guitarist Tyler, a hat full of songs written and some gigs on the horizon, Cavity Search are now in full swing and ready to drink your beers and fuck your missus.

Stay tuned for updates on a potential album, some half arsed gigs and general tomfoolery from the Cavity Search camp.
