Robert de Visée: Suite en La mineur
The young musician Thomas Dunford graduated from the Paris Conservatory at just 18 years of age and went on to study with none other than Hopkinson Smith at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. His first BOZAR recital is devoted to one man, the French baroque composer Robert de Visée, who served as ”guitar master” to the young Louis XIV and was highly regarded in his day as a guitarist, theorbo and viol player, and singer.
